Western Region is the only region whose capital, Sekondi-Takoradi is a twin city in the whole of Ghana and West-Africa. The regional minister is Honourable Kwabena Okyere Darko Mensah.

Located at the southern part of Ghana, it is also one of the most important cities for business, politics, finance, tourism and entertainment. The city is nicknamed “the Oilcity” because it is part of the southmost location, the Cape Three Points, where the crude oil was discovered in commercial quantity on June 2007. (Wikipedia).

Since it is time to invest in the Aviation and Tourism sector, Western Region proudly boasts of exceptional tourist sites to magnetize her tourists to promote and sustain her socio-economic development. These include, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah’s Grave at Nkroful, Forts-(Fort Orange, Fort Sebastian, Fort Metal Cross, Fort Antonio), Nzulenzu-The village on Stilt, The Beaches of Westside;(Busua Beach Resort, African Beach, Sports Club beach, Princess Town beach, Mimia beach, etc), Nature & Wildlife.

These sites are enough to ignite you to explore and enjoy a great adventure in the  Western region!

Western Region only gives nothing but the best. Thus the Best comes from the West.

Western Region, Ye wo adze a oye!!!!
