Kenya Airways will launch its first non-stop service between Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and Cape Town International Airport, South Africa starting from 6 June, 2018, according to Routesonline.
Although, the airline is yet to officially announce the route, a dummy booking by The Afritraveller on the airline’s website confirmed the new non-stop service.
A Boeing 737-800 will operate this nonstop service 3 times a week, on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Flight KQ784 will leave Nairobi at 15:35 and arrive Cape Town at 20:20. Return Flight KQ785 will depart Cape Town at 22:15 and arrive Nairobi at 05:00 the next morning.
Kenya Airways currently operates 4 weekly service to Cape Town via Livingston, and 3 weekly service via Victoria Falls. These services will be operated in addition to the new non-stop service.
Cape Town is the second largest city in South Africa. It’s a very popular tourist destination with a picturesque location on the South African coast, offering stunning bay and ocean views with Table Mountain as a scenic background.
