The Government of Seychelles has announced some updates on their Covid-19 requirements for tourists traveling into the country.
Passengers will need a certificate of vaccination in addition to a negative Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test taken within 72 hours prior to scheduled departure.
According to the communique sent to the Ghana Tourism Authority by the Minister of Tourism of Seychelles, Mr Sylvestre Radegonde, “tourists who meet the above requirements will not need to be quarantined upon arrival, however unvaccinated travelers from ‘categories 1 and 2’ countries, including Australia, New Zealand and Vietnam would be allowed entry.
Alternatively,” visitors must have received two standard doses of any of the four (4) main vaccines; Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Moderna and Johnson and Johnson within the medically stipulated time frame”, he said
