Ghana’s most reliable airline company, Africa World Airlines Limited has said flight schedules are largely returning to normal after poor visibility caused by harmattan.
The problems arose when the airport experienced a storm in the vicinity and to go or not go depends upon many factors.
The prudent and professional pilot will seek out the best information available from many sources.
Due to extremely poor visibility conditions throughout the region, a large number of flights are experiencing significant disruptions, including delays, cancellations, and diversions.
Passengers booked on any Africa World Airlines operated flights for travel on or before Wednesday 19FEB20 will be permitted to rebook their travel without any change fees subject to availability of seats.
However, the airline company “advised passengers that following a general improvement in visibility conditions throughout the region, flight schedules are largely returning to normal.”
AWA expects that a full normal schedule will be in operation by Friday 21FEB20.
