A new youth chief known as the Nachin-Naa has been installed in New Jersey by the Dagomba community on the 2nd of July 2023.
It is suggested that every Dagomba chief appoint a Youth chief known as Nachin-Naa. The role of the Nachin-Naa is to oversee youth affairs on behalf of the chief, ensuring their organization and compliance with the chief’s directives.
Additionally, the Nachin-Naa aims to foster unity among the youth in North America, encouraging collaboration for the development of the Northern region.
The North America Nachin-Naa initiative will focus on the goals of uniting Dagomba youth, achieving financial independence for Dagombas in the diaspora and supporting young Dagombas in American communities.
The installation took place at Masjid Bilal in Jersey City, NJ, and it involved Abdul Gafaru Adam, also known as Gafaru Admun.
