Black Stars skipper Asamoah Gyan’s BabyJet Airlines (BBJ) will soon begin commercial operations after announcing that they have finally begun recruiting cabin crew.

The advert announcing the recruitment states that: “ability to swim is a must” and that “nursing and customer service experience would be an advantage but not essential.”

It will be recalled that Gyan late last year warned that some fraudsters targeted BabyJet Airlines with a recruitment scam.

He warned persons to ignore messages on any social media page regarding recruitment by the BabyJet Airlines.

According to him, such pages were being operated by scammers, adding that additional information about the company could be obtained from his business manager Samuel Anim Addo.

However, Gyan in a tweet today announced that BabyJet Airlines is now offering lifetime career opportunities to young people.

He posted: “IT’S OFFICIAL!! BabyJet Airlines is offering young men & women lifetime career opportunities as Cabin Crew.I am looking forward to working with the lucky candidates”.

The advert accompanying Gyan’s post promises that BabyJet Airlines will pay for the training of selected persons at the Aerovector Training School.

It also adds that selected applicants will be sent a code and further steps.

It will be recalled that the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at the 2017 African Airshow at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra announced that Gyan has obtained a license to operate an airline company.

Reports have suggested the company will commence operations with cargo services, before expanding to airlift passengers.

Gyan currently plays for Kayerispor in the Turkish Super League after a stint with Shanghai SIPG in the Chinese Super League and already owns a total of 18 companies.

He has interests in music production, entertainment with his Asa Band (as well as his personal music career) and event management (JetLink Events & Logistics).

Gyan has also invested in companies importing food (Mama Vits Noodles and Rice), boxing promotion (Baby Jet Promotions), water (Paradise Pac), transport, real estate, mining and student hostels.

Gyan, 32, is the all-time leading goalscorer of the senior national team (Black Stars) with 51 goals.
