April 8th, 2019 – Ethiopian Airlines, the largest Aviation Group in Africa and SKYTRAX certified Four
Star Global Airline, announced that it has established a new partnership with Immfly, an onboard digital transformation platform for in-flight e-commerce and onboard connectivity that enables airlines to digitally improve the passenger travel experience.

Immfly’s international growth momentum continues as the premium IFE & Connected digital services company gains new territory with the airline that commands the lion’s share of the Pan-African network.

From its hub at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, Ethiopian serves 120 passenger destinations across the globe, out of which over 60 are in Africa. Together with Ethiopian, Immfly will cover an extensive range of destinations across Africa, Europe, North and South America, Middle East & Asia.

Immfly’s Connected Digital Services and Best-in-Class IFE platform will be installed in 20 Ethiopian Airlines aircraft by this summer. The platform will be available in five languages including English, Amharic, Chinese, French, and Arabic to serve the distinct nationalities in the airline’s demographic profile.

In addition to premium Entertainment and Immfly’s proprietary content modules, Ethiopian will benefit from Immfly Active, a cutting-edge portal, empowering the airline with increased flexibility and autonomy.
