Travelport has seen rapid expansion in its portfolio of airline content to India and across South Asia. Our significant content agreements for India with Indigo, Jet Airways and Air India and with Nepal Airlines & Pakistan Airlines in South Asia, provide you with increased and exclusive rich content through our travel commerce platform, including Travelport Smartpoint. A quick summary:
- Travelport is the only GDS with IndiGocontent. Uniquely book IndiGo branded fares and ancillaries to 67 destinations worldwide without the need to visit the airline’s website
- Jet Airways has signed Preferred Partner status with Travelport. You can shop, book and manage itineraries for customers traveling with Jet Airways, including branded fares and ancillaries

- Travelport is the only GDS with Pakistan International Airlines content available through all Travelport points of sale
- Travelport is now one of only two preferred distributors of Nepal Airlinescontent in Nepal.

Travelport is still the only GDS with IndiGo content available via Travelport
In September 2016, Travelport and IndiGo announced a strategic partnership which allows IndiGo to distribute all its fares and ancillary products to Travelport-connected customers worldwide. This is the first time IndiGo has partnered with a global GDS, making Travelport the only GDS to offer this content – anywhere – as Travelport continues to provide unparalleled choice for our agents. IndiGo Rich Content and Branding is available to agents via Travelport Smartpoint (desktop) and uAPI (online).
Jet Airways has signed for Preferred Partner status with Travelport
Jet Airways has signed a preferred supplier agreement with Travelport that will be effective from early 2019 which enables online and offline travel agencies around the world to shop, book and manage itineraries for leisure and business travelers using the airline’s extensive network and codeshare alliances.
Effective April 2019, Jet Airways will also deploy Travelport’s Rich Content and Branding by displaying graphical content, their fare families and a full range of ancillary products. This means that Travelport will provide the same content as Jet Airways’ direct selling channels.
Travelport is the sole distribution supplier to Air India for domestic bookings
Travelport’s distribution agreement with Air India confirms Travelport as the sole distributor of its domestic flight content in the airline’s home market. Travelport can commit to agents globally that they will have uninterrupted distribution of all Air India fares . Enjoy exclusive access to Air India domestic fares, including branded fares and ancillaries, with Travelport in India (plus international fares in conjunction with a domestic fare.)

Nepal Airlines has appointed Travelport as Dual Preferred Distributor of its content
Another key win for Travelport is the appointment as Dual preferred distributor of Nepal Airlines content in Nepal which came into effect in October 2018. This means that Travelport will provide the same content as Nepal Airlines direct selling channels.
Pakistan International Airlines content now available
In September 2018 Pakistan Airlines changed their airline hosting system. As a consequence, Travelport is the only GDS able to provide you with access to full PIA airline content. This content is now available to book and sell in Travelport Smartpoint.
