Africa World Airlines, the proud winner of “Best Airline in West Africa”, will soon begin flying to Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire; its 10th destination in the region.

Effective from Friday, 14th February 2020, AWA will offer 6 weekly flights each way between Accra and Abidjan, linking the major cities of the world’s two largest cocoa producing countries. Passengers will also benefit with convenient onward connections to and from Lagos, Abuja, Freetown, and Monrovia through AWA’s hub at Accra’s new Terminal 3.

“Abidjan is an important market for business travelers from Accra”, said Togbe Afede XIV, Founder and Co-Chairman of Africa World Airlines. “AWA has developed a reputation for providing safe, reliable, and affordable air transportation. This new route will permit us to introduce our award-winning services to travelers in Cote D’Ivoire as well.”

All flights will operate using Embraer ERJ-145 aircraft, offering the convenience and speed of a jet aircraft experience, with the guarantee of no uncomfortable middle seats. The flight schedule will be as below (all times Local).

Africa World Airlines is a private sector Ghanaian airline based in Accra. AWA started operations in 2012 and now operates a fleet of 8 jet aircraft across 9 destinations throughout Ghana, Nigeria, Liberia and Sierra Leone; with services to Cote D’lvoire planned to commence shortly.

AWA maintains IOSA certification, the global gold standard for aviation safety, and is the only IATA member airline presently headquarted in Ghana. Africa World Airlines, lauréat de la “Best Airline in West Africa”, commencera bientôt à voler vers Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire; sa 10ème destination dans la région.

À partir du vendredi 14 février 2020, AWA proposera 6 vols hebdomadaires entre Accra et Abidjan, reliant les principales villes des deux plus grands pays producteurs de cacao au monde. Les passagers bénéficieront aussi de correspondances à partir de et vers Lagos, Abuja, Freetown et Monrovia via le hub d’AWA au nouveau Terminal 3 d’Accra.

“Abidjan est un marché important pour les voyageurs d’affaires d’Accra”, a déclaré Togbe Afede XIV, fondateur et coprésident d’Africa World Airlines. “AWA a développé une réputation pour fournir un transport aérien sûr, fiable et abordable. Tous les vols fonctionneront à l’aide d’un avion Embraer ERJ-145, offrant la commodité et la rapidité d’une expérience d’avion à réaction, sans la garantie de sièges intermédiaires inconfortables. L’horaire de vol sera comme ci-dessous (toutes les heures locales).
