Ghana has suspended the mandatory online payment for arrival passengers into the country.

This suspension came into play when the Ghana Airports Company Limited met with international airlines operating in the country to discuss the feasibility of implementation of the rule.

It was a requirement for all arriving passengers to the Terminal 3 of the Kotoka International Airport to make an online payment of the $150.00 antigen testing fee before they arrived on the borders of Ghana. This was supposed to have taken effect from 15th September, 2020 but it has been suspended till further notice according to the authorities.

Passengers can now pay with cash and other forms of payment upon arrival at the airport. The directive for mandatory payment online has been suspended to make way for further corrections on the App.
